Chargers Face Tough Competition at Cowley Invitational

Facing perhaps the stiffest competition they’ll see in the regular season, the Carl Sandburg College volleyball team was held winless in four matches at the Cowley Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
The Chargers (19-9) — playing with setter Cora Vyhnanek (West Prairie), among the nation’s leaders in assists this season — faced three of the top 14 teams in this week’s NJCAA Division II rankings and a fourth that competes in Division I.
